Mar de Frades is a monovarietal elaborated in the DO Rías Baixas with Albariño grape from the Valiñas Estate, a vineyard planted in terraces and located south of the Valiñas mountain, in the Salnés Valley. You can see the influence of the nearby Ría de Arousa, and its sea breezes that give this Sea of Frades a saline character. They are vineyards of more than 20 years of age, bred to avoid soil moisture. A poor and shallow soil, formed by granite decomposition sands that transmit a certain minerality to the wine.
It is a wide white wine, creamy and fresh. Again the notes of the variety appear with a pleasant and fresh end of the mouth.
Service temperature: between 8 and 10º C (when the blue galleon appears on the back label).
Alcoholic graduation: 12.5% vol.
