Contino Reserva wine is sourced from well-selected grapes, in perfect ripeness and manually harvested from our own vineyards around the Finca de San Rafael. Grapes that after destemming fermented in 12000 l stainless steel tanks. At a temperature of 28-30º C and that after a maceration of 15 to 20 days they carried out the malolactic fermentation that refines the wine leaving it in its adequate acidity. It continues with a transfer to American and French oak barrels where they remained two years, aging that is completed with another two years in the bottle aging in the openwork until its release to the market.
It is a garnet colored reserve wine, very dense and covered. Smoked and fruit both red and black, Clove notes, in Tannic mouth, still to be polished, but with great nobility, long, very fresh. Optimum consumption from 2012 to 2020. Next to 2004 and 2001 one of the best Contino reserves.
