Reina María Cristina was born to pay tribute to the Regent Queen Mª Cristina, who granted the title of “Supplier of the Royal House” to Codorníu in 1897. In 2010 it was re-launched as the first Blanc de Noirs cava made exclusively with the Pinot Noir ink variety : «An exquisite white cava with aromatic and tasteful white flowers and red fruits, typical nuances of the Pinot Noir ink grape». Intense straw yellow color with very bright golden reflections and purple nuances as a result of the Pinot Noir variety. Fine and delicate bubble well integrated that causes a perfect rosary with a uniform and lasting crown. On the nose we find exquisite aromas of white flowers and also fruits such as raspberry, redcurrant and strawberries, the most emblematic nuances of Pinot Noir. These aromas are felt again in the mouth, which shows a great body and remarkable freshness. It is creamy, delicate and long on the palate.
